Added act_protectedOutput, which controls a single output pin and allows external hardware monitor mechanims (like over-current/over-temperature) connect to a diagnostic input pin. The output is immediately disabled for a given time period each time the diagnostics pin is asserted. The module can also be configured such that the output is automatically turned off on each assertion.
